Currently we are seeking to fill the following position(s):

Senior Web Developer

Senior Web Developer sought to support the Developement Manager in supervision of the programming team.

Responsibilities include planning, developing, enhancing and maintaining client/server applications and software components in support of web-based applications.

Position requires a strong understanding of content management systems, web-based applications and emerging technologies (e.g. Web 2.0 etc).

PHP, MySQL, Java and Microsoft MSCE/D/A certification a plus!

Key requirements:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS or IT equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in web programming and development
• Must have experience of team supervision
• Recent experience with Content Management System development
• Web Standards and movement aware
  (W3C compliancy, Accessibility, Useability, Web 2.0 / AJAX)
• Strong skills in designing and architecting Web-based solutions
• Awareness or training of system design methodologies (SSADM, UML)
• Strong experience in a least PHP & ASP. With other programming languages as an added plus: .NET (C#, VB, J++), Java, JavaScript
• Strong experience in at least 2 of the following:
  HTML, X/HTML, CSS, XML
• Strong knowledge of web servers, application servers, relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle etc)
• Must be highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects
• Must have excellent teamwork skills as well as be self-directed
• Must have experience of handling clients
• Must have the ability to work independently and manage communications up and down
• Strong command of English both written and spoken

Desireable skills

• Windows Server maintenance skills (Windows 2000/2003)
• Good knowledge of ADS, DHCP, DNS
• Good LAN / VPN skills:
  Experience in configuring DSL lines, SOHO Routers and firewalls a bonus
• Knowledge of Flash coding and creating action scripts
• Experience with CVS/Subversion
